Sorensen Advancement LLC, doing business as Sorensen Advancement Group ("we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through sorensenadvancement.com (the "Site") and in our work with clients, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you contact us through the Site, by email, or by phone, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, title, organization, email address, phone number, organization budget, and details about your development program. The Site's contact form does not store your submission on our servers. It opens a pre-addressed email in your own email program, and the information reaches us only if you send that email.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of your visit to deliver the Site securely and protect it from abuse. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not build profiles of Site visitors.

Client information

During an engagement, clients may share confidential organizational information, including donor records, financial data, and staff information. We treat all client information as confidential, use it only to perform the services the client has engaged us for, and handle it according to our written agreement with that client.

Donor data and confidentiality

Donor relationships belong to our clients. We never sell, rent, trade, or share a client's donor information with any other organization, and we do not use one client's donor information for the benefit of another client. When an engagement ends, we return or securely delete client donor data as our agreement provides.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With service providers who help us run our business, such as email (Google Workspace) and website hosting (Cloudflare), under their own privacy and security commitments
• When you ask us to, or with your consent
• When required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property
• In connection with a sale, merger, or reorganization of our business

Data security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law or our client agreements.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you emails, by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The Site is intended for adults acting on behalf of organizations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Other websites

The Site may link to websites we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.
