Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of sorensenadvancement.com (the "Site"), operated by Sorensen Advancement LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

It is not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice, and it does not create a consulting or professional relationship. Engagements and services

Consulting services are provided only under a separate written agreement signed by both parties. That agreement, not the Site, sets the scope, fees, schedule, confidentiality, and other terms of an engagement. Prices on the Site are starting points for planning purposes, are not offers, and may change without notice.

Fundraising results depend on many factors outside our control, including donor decisions, economic conditions, and each organization's leadership and participation. Past results described on the Site, including results achieved by Mark Sorensen at prior organizations, do not guarantee similar results for any client.

Ethical commitments

We follow the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Code of Ethical Standards. We do not accept compensation based on a percentage of funds raised, we do not accept finder's fees, and all donor relationships and donor data developed during an engagement belong to the client. We do not solicit or accept gifts on our own behalf, and we do not hold or handle charitable funds; all gifts are made directly to the client organization.

Prior employers

References on the Site to organizations where Mark Sorensen previously worked, including The Salvation Army and Hope 4 Kids International, describe his employment history only. They do not imply that those organizations endorse, sponsor, or are affiliated with Sorensen Advancement LLC. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Intellectual property

The Site's text, design, logo, and graphics are owned by Sorensen Advancement LLC or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or distribute Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site in a way that is unlawful, that could damage or impair the Site, or that attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
